Established since 1962, Tampico offers traditional and Tex-Mex cuisine in a Hacienda style environment. Tampico's food is different than typical Mexican food in several ways. The food is lighter, uses more mesquite grilling, and has a greater variety of tastes. The total menu takes Mexican food and uses modern cooking techniques seen in contemporary American restaurants.
