American Chiropractic Clinic has been serving the Westbank and Greater New Orleans since 1987. Our 3 on-site Doctors and staff provide our patients with personalized care including a variety of chiropractic techniques and therapeutic modalities. We are proud to offer Spinal Decompression (which has been very effective in treating herniated discs and "pinched nerves"). Our High-Frequency x-ray machine enables us to take x-rays on-site and we develop your x-rays in minutes so that there is no long wait for results.
We accept same day appointments and keep any waiting time to a minimum. Though Medicaid does Not pay for adult Chiropractic care in Louisiana, American Chiropractic Clinic is a preferred provider on almost all other health insurance plans, including medicare and other "65" plans. For your convenience, we process and mail the billing for you.
While we accept walk-ins, we recommend that you call ahead for an appointment and provide us with your health ins. info so that we can have your benefit information for you by the time you arrive. Remember, our office is open till 7:00pm nightly.
Many patients present with Sprains/Strains or other everyday "aches and pains", however, if you were injured in an Auto Accident or hurt On The Job, we will accept you as a patient in our clinic and work directly with your attorney or insurance adjuster. We generally wait until the conclusion of your care/settlement of your case, for payment from the insurance company or from your attorney. If following an accident, you do not wish to use an attorney, we can file all your paperwork directly to the insurance carrier for you.
Your initial visit generally includes an exam and x-rays (if necessary) followed by therapy and chiropractic adjustments. For some patients relief is immediate and for others it may take several visits. Our physicians provide personalized care on each visit.
