Known as "Louisiana's family playground," this historic 1,500-acre park was once the site of the Allard Plantation. It is now home to an antique carousel, as well as beautiful live oak trees, a botanical garden, sculpture garden, museum of art, train garden, four golf courses, and Storyland, a fairytale theme park for children. A wide variety of recreational activities, including tennis, softball, golf, fishing and boating, are available.
