One of the oldest domestic buildings in the Mississippi Valley and one of the finest example of an 18th century building complex, this historic complex is an official National Historic Landmark that consists of three buildings: the main house, the kitchen with the cook's quarters, and the two story garconniere. All of the buildings are separated by an ell-shaped courtyard.
