Once a blacksmith shop operated by the brothers Lafitte, infamous pirates, this all time favorite tourist attraction in the Quarter was built sometime before 1772 and is one of the few remaining original "French architecture" structures in the French Quarter. Small, dark, and cozy, this tavern and watering hole serves the best Hurricanes in the area, as well as an array of other specialty drinks plus features live music and a piano bar.
