One of the greatest celebrations in the world, this open air music festival is held for 10 days and features over 4,000 talented musicians on 11 stages playing a variety of music including traditional and contemporary jazz, rock, gospel, rhythm and blues, ragtime, and country western. Other features of the festival include Louisiana specialty foods, crafts, and demonstrations by cooks and crafts people.
