Established in 1977, the original Tipitina's is a two-story cultural landmark. Created for rhythm and blues legend Professor Longhair, Tipitina's continues to provide concert goers and performers with an outlet to enjoy and relish in the sounds that continue to amaze us. The second Tipitina's is located at 233 North Peters in the Historic French Quarter.
