Located where the French Quarter, Faubourg Marigny, and the Treme Historical District meet, these two lovingly restored antebellum mansions, "Rathbone" and "Rathbone II," are open for guests to enjoy true New Orleans hospitality. The Greek Revival-style home at 1227 Esplanade houses 12 individually decorated guest rooms, a wrought iron fence with a filigreed gate, iron balconies, a large front porch overlooking Esplanade Avenue, and a secluded Creole-style tropical courtyard with palm and banana trees. Guest rooms feature high ceilings, hardwood floors, antique furnishings, private baths, phones, air conditioning, Internet access, televisions, bar fridges, and ceiling fans. The spacious two and three bed suites feature kitchenettes and some have balconies. Guests of both properties are invited to enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi at the 1244 Esplanade Mansion. Breakfast is served daily in the grand parlor at 1244 Esplanade.
