Located 40 minutes south of New Orleans and situated on 50 acres on the west bank of the Mississippi River, "the country home of southern comfort," Woodland Plantation's completely restored raised Creole-style cottage, a.k.a. "The Big House," with Greek Revival-style features, contains nine period furnished guest rooms with private baths. A full Southern breakfast is served each morning. The circa 1883, 4,000 square foot Spirits Hall, featuring traditional Louisiana Creole and Cajun cuisine, is ideal for gourmet dinners, weddings, receptions, conferences, and special retreats. Woodland Plantation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
