After hearing many great things about this restaurant, I decided to dine there on a Friday evening. Well, little did I know that I was not welcomed to enjoy a 'great meal' into the establishment as the owner and the waitress never seemed to mind having an business. The waitress brought out water, NEVER asked what other beverage I'd like, and excused herself on to servicing herself. After browsing the menu and awaiting for the waitress to check in again, I noticed this woman get a bowl of food. She sat NEXT to the owner of the Palace and began eating. It never ran across my mind that I was being ignored. The owner took a look at us at our table and turned back to the television screen to watch the national news. The waitress then placed her spoon down. I thought she was going to be getting up to come by and take our order; instead, the woman picked up the remote control and continued to eat her food. Feeling disgusted and awkward, my date and I left. Neither the owner nor the waitress cared about the happening because they never made any mention as to why we were leaving. This restaurant has been known for great food and convenience because of its location, but after this episode, it is time that people hear what goes on and decide whether or not they'd like to WAIT and WAIT and give their business to people who apparently aren't in business to feed and service the public.
