Chimp Haven is an independent, nonprofit chimpanzee sanctuary which is federally funded. Here chimpanzees who are no longer needed for biomedical research, entertainment, or no longer wanted as pets enjoy a state-of-the-art indoor bedroom complex, food preparation, outdoor habitats, and a veterinarian.
