Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Caddo Parish Courthouse sits on 2.5 acres which was the original site of a courthouse which was used as the State Capital of Louisiana the Civil War. Special features of the courthouse include Rosatta marble walls, pink and gray Tennessee marble with a border of Belgian black marble floors, and bronze lamps.
