The oldest church building in Shreveport, this Romanesque Revival church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features a main altar made of the purest Italian Carrera marble and over 60 stained glass windows, five of which memorializes five French Catholic priests who died during the yellow fever epidemic of 1873.
