Located in the historic Municipal Memorial Auditorium, the Stage of Stars Museum displays the magnificent history of this local treasure. This was the site of "The Louisiana Hayride" radio show in the 50s and 60s, and the stage where Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Sr., Johnny Cash, and George Jones have performed as well as former Louisiana governor, Jimmie Davis who wrote "You Are My Sunshine."
