The Shreveport Sports will open the 96-game baseball season on May 8th at El Paso. The Sports will open their sixth home season at Fair Grounds Field on Tuesday, May 13th against Grand Prairie, one of the two new teams in the American Association. The 48-game home schedule will include eight Thursday, Friday and Saturday games, and seven Sunday and Tuesday games. The Sports will play 11 games at home in May, June and August with 15 home games at Fair Grounds Field in July.
