This small family cemetery is all that remains of Locust Grove Plantation, the home of Jefferson Davis' sister, Mrs. Anna E. Davis Smith. Davis' young wife Sarah Knox Taylor Davis and Brigadier General Eleazor W. Ripley are some of those who have been buried in the 27-plot cemetery.
