This small, 27-plot family cemetery is all that remains of Locust Grove Plantation, owned by the family of Jefferson Davis' sister, Anna E. Davis Smith. During the summer of 1835, Davis brought Sarah Knox Taylor Davis, his wife of only three months, to the plantation for a visit. Mrs. Davis, the daughter of General Zachary Taylor, contracted malaria and died. She is buried here among other Davis family members. Contact the staff at Audubon State Historic Site to schedule your visit. Visitations are from Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

I am a descendent of the Smith's and I think my Great Grandfather is buried there. Do you have a list of all that are buried there?
