Dr Anthony Harrison
Hello. Some years ago i had contact with Helen williams who was then the Museum Director. My interest was in obtaining genealogical information on the Gastrell family, in particular on Alfred Thomas Gastrell. I remember being told that there was then a portrait of a "Mr Gastrell" in the Museum. I am currently writing a book on the Gastrells and am searching for any pictures and memorabilia for this project. I do have a photo that I think might be of Alfred T given me by a distant descendent and wonder if your portrait is of him? In any case is there a possible interest your end in any of this? I would really appreciate hearing from you. Sincerely Anthony.
