The premier event will showcase the beautiful and abundant bird life, natural habitat, and history of Louisiana's Feliciana Parishes. The festival promises a wide array of birding field trips into spectacular wildlife areas and privately owned properties. Over 175 species of birds are known to reside or migrate through the area. John James Audubon, the festival's namesake, is known to have painted up to 80 of his artworks contained in the “Birds of North America” portfolio here.
