This historic cemetery, founded in 1660, is the third oldest burying ground in Boston proper. Granary Burying Ground is the final resting place of such notable historical figures as John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and Crispus Attucks, one of the victims of the Boson Massacre.
