One of the earliest remaining brick structures in Boston, this home's "elegant symmetrical style was a radical change from the wood-framed Tudor dwellings, such as the Revere House, common in 17th century Boston." An excellent example of early Georgian architecture, the restored Pierce/Hichborn House features four rooms furnished in the 18th century style that are open to the public. The Pierce/Hichborn House is shown by guided tours only, which last from 30 to 45 minutes.
