Route 6
Eastham, MA 02642

This historic structure was originally the home of meat-packing pioneer Nathaniel Swift, and was constructed near the middle of the Eighteenth Century; the house exemplifies characteristics that epitomize typical houses from the region and time period in question, such as wide floorboards, large fireplaces, and a narrow staircase that is reminiscent of the type of staircase that was found in the cabins of ships in the Eighteenth Century.
