This Eighteenth Century house, with gardens, features art exhibits by the Marblehead Arts Association, and is named in remembrance of William Hooper, a native who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and matriculated at Harvard University. Originally built in 1728, and expanded upon in 1747, the architecture is wonderful, and the house contains a wine cellar and a ballroom.
