This appealing structure was first built as the headquarters for the Atlantic Silk Company in 1835, and still creates a feel of Nineteenth Century charm, both in the interior of the house, and in the sanctuary of the intimate garden area that invites one to relax, read, or simply muse away the time. Both the first and second floors of the house boast magnificent parlours that are the perfect spot to curl up and read or lounge, and the inn is decorated throughout with original artworks. There are eight wonderfully appointed guestrooms, four on the first floor and four on the second floor, and all include private baths, air conditioning, telephones, cable televisions with DVD players, and more; each morning a homemade Continental breakfast is served.
