Built by architect Russel Warren, with granite used from the same quarry as the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston, this mansion was the first Greek Revival mansion built in New Bedford, and has many distinctive features, including full height pillars and a large portico; many famous visitors have been here, including Abraham Lincoln and John Quincy Adams.
