While the location in Westport Point and the beautiful landmark right at the harbor could be the perfect combination for an incredible experience, the owner Brenda and her unbelievable rudeness and disrespect for customers will ruin all that. I have never stayed in a place where the owner and people working there seemed less interested in having guests in 'her house' than here. She literally asked us to leave the 'social room' downstairs at 8:30 in the evening because she wanted to turn the lights off and close it although a number of people wanted to sit and socialize. The rooms and inn itself are what you would expect of a typical New England B&B, not everything works perfect but overall has incredible charm and a unique feeling to it. But that doesn't excuse the terrible service and treatment by the owner. Additionally, she seemed to be fairly intoxicated every evening. While there are not a lot of places to stay in the area, this is one I would certainly make sure to avoid.
