In September 2010, The Full Circle Youth Chorus will offer children from Pembroke a new musical opportunity. All children in grades K-6 are invited, and no audition is required. Our mission is to build community through music. Children will make new friends in a fun, supportive environment. Singing together with friends brings joy, self confidence, and self expression into every life.

Children will gain a thorough understanding of music, and receive instruction based on the Kodaly approach to music education. The founders of the Kodaly approach stressed the importance of educating very young children, because they believed that when musical appreciation and musical skills are developed at a early age, a pattern of musical participation is created for a lifetime.

The Founder and Artistic Director of the Full Circle Youth Chorus is Ms. Denise Rachel of Norwell. A Kodaly Certified Music Instructor, she was raised in a musical family where she began singing as a church soloist at age five, and continued singing ever since.
