Found in nearby Orleans, the Old Jailhouse Tavern is an historical structure that dates back to the beginning of the Nineteenth Century, when it was a room in the house of Constable Henry Perry, who used the room as a jail; the present day tavern is still situated within the original stone walls of Constable Perry’s house. While enjoying the historic ambience of the restaurant, one can feast on traditional New England dishes, fresh seafood, salads, daily specials, and a selection of light fare items.
