Run under the auspices of the Hyannis Recreation Department are three beaches: Kalmus Park on Beach Ocean Street, Orrin Keyes on Beach Sea Street, and Veterans Park on Ocean Street; the beaches are manned by lifeguards from late June through Labour Day, and afford opportunities for swimming, boating, sailing, and many other activities; fishing and shellfish permits may also be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office.
