Thomas Viaduct (circa 1835) Off Maryland Route 1 in Patapsco State Park, Baltimore, MD, Located 7 Miles Southwest in Relay, Designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe Jr., the 704-foot-long Thomas Viaduct, the oldest stone arch railroad viaduct in use today, was once the country's largest bridge and was the first built on a curve. It was named a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
