A National Historic Landmark, Mount Clare is a colonial Georgian-style mansion built by Charles Carroll, Barrister. Mount Clare houses an impressive collection of 18th and early 19th century furnishings and decorative arts belonging to the Barrister and his family. The home is open Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m., with guided tours on the hour. The last tour starts at 3:00 p.m. Please call for group reservations.
