12/15/10 Jim Weir, owner and operator of Awesome Gifts and Collectibles, knows the meaning of paying it forward. He is selling the 1979 South African Krugerrand 1-ounce gold coin that the Salvation Army received in its Red Kettle last week and donating the proceeds back to the Salvation Army.

“The Salvation Army sold me the coin for $1,400 and I am selling it for $1,500 and will donate the extra $100 to the Salvation Army,” said Weir.

Jim is a chip off the old block. Good job dad

I went into this store trying to sell sum jewelry. I was told he would give me $500 for a $300 ring, $300 diamond bracelet, and $2000 engagement ring(with receipts). I left to think about it and when i came back he laughed in my face. He said he never said that and if he did he was drunk. This is why people dont wanna sell gold because of rip off artist like these. Stay clear and be warned they will hustle you.
