The socirety preserves the history of Essex and Middle River. The museum is housed in a 1920 firehouse and displays replicas of a general store, schoolroom, jail cell, drug store and workshop as well as candle, music, and toy shops. Open Sunday, 1-4pm. Closed January and February.
