The Children’s Discovery Museum's interactive environment offers multi-sensory, self directed, open-ended learning experiences to develop knowledge of and respect for self, others, the environment and the world. Exhibits include a bank, restaurant, the Kennebec River Room, Children's Discovery Museum Theater, a reading loft, grocery store, rainforest/music area, campsite, tree house/nature center, and an engineering/construction/transportation exhibit.
