This 200-acre tract of land where trees, shrubs, and plants are cultivated for educational, recreational and scientific purposes contains white pine trees planted in honor of all 71 Maine governors, a six-mile, year-round trail system and offers a fantastic view of the Kennebec Valley. Recreational opportunities include bird-watching, picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.
