The Pentagoet is one of Maine's few remaining original "summer hotels." Built in 1894, when Castine was a bustling seaport and guests arrived by steamship, the Pentagoet Inn is located in the heart of the Historic District. It is nestled on a seaside bluff, graced with majestic elms and overlooks the village and harbor. This whimsical Queen Anne Victorian with it's three story turret and quirky gables has 16 bedrroms, all with private baths.
