Housed in the turn-of-the-century Eveleth-Crafts-Sheridan Historical House and the renovated Carriage House, the Moosehead Historical Society's Historical Museum contains a "wide array of permanent and temporary exhibits, ranging from the Civil War to post World War II, relating to the history and culture of the Moosehead Lake region." Situated in the Carriage House, the Lumberman's Museum features a retrospective of logging in the 1800s, Native American artifacts, hand-crafted steam vessel models, vintage photographs, a library, gift shop and more.
