The past home of two sea captains, the Riverside Inn is found on the East Machias River near the University of Maine at Machias, Burnham Tavern Museum, Fort O'Brien State Historic Site, F.D.R.'s summer house at Campobello Island, Cobscook Bay State Park, Roque Bluffs State Park and the Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. Each of the guest rooms come standard with a private bath, antiques, and cable TV. A made-to-order breakfast is offered.
