Known for its outstanding collection of fossils including the largest dinosaur display in Michigan, this natural history museum also features a mastodon skeleton from Owosso and the world's most comprehensive display on whale evolution. The museum also hosts occasional photography and fine art exhibits. A planetarium on site features seven to eight public shows per year. A gift shop is on site.
