Housed in an original building from 1900, maintained and owned by the City with its contents owned and kept by the Fenton Historical Society; the A.J. Phillips Fenton Museum's highlights include an extensive genealogy room, cemetery records for Genesee County, an exact reproduction of what AJ Phillips' personal office looked like, school records, vintage clothing and tools, a collection of early Fenton area newspapers dating back to the 1840's, and military and war items tied to Fenton. Staffed by Historical Society volunteers, the Museum is open to the public on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment.
