A combination school and public library, the L'Anse Area School/Public Library contains over 16,000 books, magazines, newspapers, talking books, video cassettes, audio books, CDs, large print books, a children's collection and eight public computers. The local paper, the L'Anse Sentinel, is available on microfilm from 1890 through 1998.
