Housed in a one-story, stone, hipped-roof Richardsonian Romanesque-style structure with rounded arch windows, located along the Lake Superior shoreline near the U.S. Coast Guard Station; the Marquette Maritime Museum features an outstanding collection of lighthouse lenses, including old Stannard's Rock lens; tours through the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse and grounds, a gift shop and exhibits on such subjects as Native American maritime history, the World War II Silent Service Memorial, Edmund Fitzgerald and Marquette and Lake Superior shipwrecks.
