We were charged $74.99 for 2 people on 8-6-2010. I should have known it was going to be bad when I saw the hand written sign stating "No refunds for any reason" on the front desk. We were told there was a list of restaurants that deliver in the room along with menus. When we walked in the room smelled of mildew. There was a basketball size wet spot on one of the beds that went thru the comforter and blanket and sheet and into the mattress. I would have smelled it to see what it was but I was afraid to get my face that close to the 40 year old comforter. The front door had a 1/2 inch gap all the way around it. The windows and screen door looked as if they hadnt been cleaned in 5 years. There was what appeared to be semi dried sticky jelly on the desk. There was mildew in the refridgerator. Nasty place, and we have to sleep together.. but no refunds so we try to order food. No menus. We did see the list of restaurants and the numbers and tried to call. The phone was dead. We had no cell service. Borrowed a phone from the people next door and the first 3 places we called did not deliver. Finally ordered pizza and turned on the tv. The free HBO channel was blacked out. There was a clump of thick wet white stuff (hand lotion or ??) on the floor between the 2 beds, we covered it with a magazine. The mattresses were smaller than the bed frames so every time ya walked by you bumped your leg. The alarm clock was unplugged had to move the bed out to plug it in. The lamp on the desk did not have a bulb in it. No coffee maker, tooth paste splatters on the mirror, not just one or two but at least 50. No shower head on the shower. The toilet ran all night long no matter what we tried to stop it. No ice, no ice bucket and no little cups. The soap crumbled into bits as soon as you opened it. The shower curtain was at least 6 inches too short (cut off) and water leaked all over the floor. It was the worst motel stay of my entire life and Ive stayed in some cheap motels! And this was NOT cheap.
