Annual 100 Mile Garage Sale

Held each May, this huge community garage sale is an exciting annual event in Lake City. Residents and stores in 14 Historic River Towns and Two States clean out their attics, garages and basements to create this gigantic Garage Sale. Community Maps of participating areas can be picked up in local stores.

Water Ski Days Festival

This June event celebrates Ralph Samuelson's invention of Waterskiing on Lake Pepin. Activities include live bands each evening in the Beer Tent, carnival rides, antiques and crafts, Antique Auto Show and Swap, family games and activities, and a Grand Parade.

Held in a variety of areas around Lake Pepin, this event includes guiding birding hikes through woodlands, blufftop prairies, wetlands, shorelines, and the Mississippi River backwaters. It will also include wildlife workshops, educational seminars, and live birds of prey.
