The Blue Earth County Historical Society's Heritage Center location houses its exhibit gallery, research center, museum store and administrative offices. Tours of the Heritage Center museum gallery and the circa 1871 R.D. Hubbard House at 606 South Broad Street are available. The historic Hubbard House is decorated as it would have looked in 1905. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, the Society's research center contains an extensive collection of books, photographs and manuscripts on the history of Blue Earth County.
