Since the inaugural event in 2005, the BBQ andBlues Fest has grown to more than double in size, and over 25,000 hungry Blues Fans were in attendance at the June 7, 2008 event. Each year the festival is held in the heart of downtown Minneapolis on the Peavey Plaza, a terraced area outside of the city's Orchestra Hall.
