Minnesota's oldest state park, the more than 32,000-acre Itasca State Park features more than 100 lakes, Preacher's Grove, the Itasca Indian Cemetery, Wegmann's Cabin, the historic Douglas Lodge, cabins, campgrounds, the 2,000-acre Wilderness Sanctuary, one of Minnesota's seven National Natural Landmarks; a swimming beach and much more. Itasca State Park is designated as a National Register Historic District.
