The Nobles County Historical Society was established in 1932. The Society's Museum is currently located in the basement area of the Nobles County Library. It contains a collection of artifacts relating to the history of Nobles County.

I LIVE IN ST MICHAEL MN, AND AM PRESENTLY DOING A FAMILY HISTORY ON MY GRANDMOTHER ISABELLE DRIESSEN. HER FATHER WAS PETER JON DRIESSEN/DRESSEN BN 10 MAR 1846 AND IN A PHOTO I HAVE A BROTHER THEO WAS IN ATTENDANCE AT AN ENGAGEMENT PARTY. I THOUGHT MAYBE AN OBIT YOU MIGHT HAVE ON SOME DRIESSEN'S WOULD MENTION A BROTHER PETER JON - KNOWN IN THE USA AS JOHN DRESSEN.
