This was the first cave in the area to be commercialized, in 1932, and now offers walk-through tours and handicapped accessible tours, a rock and gift shop, special events, and more; the interior of the cave remains a constant fifty three degrees Fahrenheit, and the cave is known for its “depth illusion, reflective pools, ceiling sponge work, prehistoric bones, and the world’s largest geode.”

Jacobs Cave was very interesting. Their tour guide was outstanding and a wealth of information when it came to questions about the cave. She gave it quite a personal touch with the interesting facts she shared while on the tour. You MUST STOP IN if you are in the area.
