Official Orpheum and Shubert Circuit Vaudeville photographer Orval Hixon was the premier arts and crafts photographer of the 1914-1930 era. His Kansas City studio at the opulent Baltimore hotel was patronized by hundreds of stars of Vaudeville, film and theatre. His KC subjects account for over 25 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
