This is a wonderful place for blues fans and other ethnomusicologists. I loved talking with the owner. (nicknamed "Rat") We talked about the supposed first rock & Roll record ever, Rocket 88, by Jackie Brenston and Ike Turner among others. Rat said: "Man, they cut the demo in the basement!" This place is blues history!

Sorry I am late here.... I believe the way my dad got a wiggly 8 yo to listen to anything from "Amrciea's Best Loved Poems" was to expose her to Robert Service, who could tell a rhythmic tale.In my adult life I adore Richard Bach, some of his work is poetry, i think.
